Video game console developers have been in a never ending war with each other and I believe it will never end. The video game industry has been an ever changing market with cutting edge technology in home entertainment. Many companies has been trying to get a piece of this multi-billion dollar market over the past thirty something years. A Lot of companies have failed miserably while some try to merge with other companies to stay afloat. With all the failures there are some that have succeeded quite well over the past quarter century.  Every 5-6 years (average life expectancy of a video game console system) a new war wages between these massive companies with multi-million dollar budgets for marketing their new hardware. Perhaps the most recognizable feud is the battle between Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. In the front line, Microsoft has their Xbox 360, Sony with their Playstation 3 and Nintendo with the Wii. I decided to briefly break down the specs of these three systems as well as how they are doing in the video game market.

There are signals to tell you what may be wrong with your vehicle and what parts need to be replaced. I’ve had two used, older vehicles over 100,000 miles and one exceeding over 200,000 miles. These are a few natural problems that usually happen once the vehicle gets older.

If you ever walk into your car, turn on the ignition but it doesn’t start and you notice the light is dimming when you turn the key to your ignition. The obvious problem is your battery is low and needs jumper cables to receive transferred power from another vehicle. How about if you use jumper cables and it still doesn’t work?

There are two reasons:

-First, It can be your battery is out of juice and needs to be replaced.

-Second, your Alternator (energizes your battery and keeps it running) is no longer working properly and needs to get replaced.

Vehicle Alternator

If your vehicle is starting to smoke while you are driving, it can be your Radiator (a tank that holds fluids to keep you vehicle cool and prevent it from overheating), which is usually located right in front of your engine when you open the hood.

Vehicle Radiator

Vehicle Radiator

There are several reasons for this problem:

-The Radiator is running low on coolant or water so you just have to open the cap and replenish it.

-If it still starts smoking after you have refilled it with fluids, then your Radiator might have a crack and you would have to replace your vehicle with a new radiator.

-It can be a little problem such as a loose or worn out tube where fluids go through to keep your vehicle cool.

-The most expensive problem can be that your Water Pump is old and not working properly anymore and has to be replaced.

If you haven’t changed your brakes on your vehicle for a while and you start to hear squealing sounds, it may be time to change your brake pads. The worst is if you hear metal grinding sounds, then for sure you need to change your brake pads but also your rotors too. You can purchase performance brake rotors and pads at a great price by visiting R1concepts.com.

Alex Lynn

Alex Lynn is one of the best models we ever worked with. She was very helpful when it came to picking out outfits for the car shows and the photo shoot. She also helped us get Sasha Singleton and Lisa Kaye to work with us. Alex pretty much helped me on everything regarding the models when it came to the HIN Night Shift car show & Funkmaster Flex car show. When I saw her in person I was surprised how tall she was. But once you meet her she’s one of the most down to Earth person and the biggest goof ball you will ever meet. Just don’t get on her bad side! Also this girl can eat! She is leaving the whole modeling and go-go scene for awhile because of personal reasons. Her last appearance was with us, R1 Concepts, so we feel very honored. You will be missed Alex and we can’t wait when you come back!

The most basic question first… So how did you get into modeling?

I got discovered by Overboost and did a car show for them when I was 17.

Where did they find you?

I think I had an online profile somewhere, I don’t remember.

Rateapix?

Hahaha…. I think it was Findapix.

Oh there you go. That’s how I got discovered too!

Um…. Ok!

We know you do more then just modeling. You also go-go in some of Hollywood’s best nighclubs on the weekends. Which one do you like more? Modeling or go-go?

I like them both really. It really depends on who you work for and with whom.

Let’s say if this Saturday you had to either do a show for R1 Concepts or go-go…. which one would you pick?

Haha…. I would do R1 first and then rush off to gogo. The timing would be perfect! Because most car shows are during the day and then clubs at night. Wait…. I mean R1 Concepts only of course!

Yeah whatevers! Do you have a signature move when you go-going (not sure if i just made up a new word there)?

Haha… not really, I just dance with the beat!

What’s up with the boots with the fur? Do you know how that ever got started?

Well, before the go-gos used to wear these HUGE boots, and for different outfits you have to match the different boot color. So I don’t know how the fur was invented, but it makes it so much cheaper to match. All you have to do is cover the boots with the fur. Because each of those boots are like almost $200.00!

Yicks! Poor little cheap raccoons.

Hahahaha! They’re not real fur!

What’s the worse hit up line you ever got?

Hahaha… Oh man!

Sounds like you get plenty. Mines don’t count ok!

I remember I was walking in downtown Santa Barbara and there are some pubs there where you drink outdoors. This stupid guy stopped me and said “Do you have a quarter?” This was when payphones were only 25 cents. Anyhow, I looked at him and said “What?” He said “Well I need to borrow a quarter so I can call your mom and tell her what a beautiful daughter she has.” I looked at him and said “DUMBASS!” and walked off.

Oh damn that pick up line is a good one! You sure that wasn’t the best one you heard because I’m going to use that one.

Ummm…. That’s horrible. People these days.

What would be your drink at the bar?

Surfers on acid.

Ummm… not sure what that is. Thought it would be Sex on the Beach. What would be your song at the club that would make you say “That’s my song!”?

To be honest with you, when I go-go I hear all the songs. Over and over and over. I really don’t have a song anymore.

I know you go-go with Sasha Singleton and Lisa Kaye. If you’re stranded out in the ocean on a small raft that can only hold 2 people. Your on the raft and Sasha and Lisa is in the waters…. who would you save?

Omg… I pled the 5th.

I was only kidding…. I was trying to blackmail you. So you were born in Beijing, China. The 2008 Summer Olympics is taking place there as we speak. Any favorite sport?

Not really. I haven’t watched it. When I was in Beijing last year, all I hear was Olympics this and Olympics that. Took all the excitment out of it.

Let’s go into cars. If you had to choose a car thats either slow and show or fast and furious?

I’d pick a mini van. I’m not big on cars really.

I guess that’s slow and furious.

I like them safe and comfortable.

Ok away from cars now…. ASAP!

Hahahaha!

Who do you think is a hot actress?

Angelina Jolie.

Good choice! What about a hot actor?

Johnny Depp.

Once again good choice! We have the same taste.

Haha… we can be like sisters!

I was only kidding! Ok lets do “LAST TIME” questions. Last time I got drunk and didn’t remember was….

Um… years ago at Vanguard. I actually don’t remember what happened to tell you.

Last time I got in trouble with the law was……

Never! I’m a good girl! Well I did got pulled over once for no seatbelt.

Wow you crazy criminal you. Last time I got into a fight was….

It was at Highlands club, but it wasn’t really me in the fight. More like this girl punched me when I didn’t even know her. Later I found out she tried to get with my ex boyfriend and he turned her down. So she was bitter.

Last time you tripped was…..

Tripped? I don’t recall tripping.

Guess your not clumsy. Thought those boots would atleast cause a fall one time in your life.

I wear uggs under my boot covers. Because I’m already tall and don’t need big boots.

Oh yeah forgot your the green giant. What was your costume for last years halloween?

I was a french maid. So typical huh?

You read my mind. Last question. When was the last time you changed your brakes?

I haven’t changed my brakes on my car yet. But I’m going to change my breaks soon and with you guys of course!
